Quiet blocks.
Center City close.

Graduate Hospital combines the comfort of a residential neighborhood with easy access to Center City. Tree-lined streets, brick rowhouses, cafés, restaurants, parks, and local businesses give the area a relaxed neighborhood feel, while South Street, Rittenhouse Square, the Schuylkill River Trail, and Broad Street are all within walking distance.

A Neighborhood with Deep Musical Roots.

Long before the name Graduate Hospital became widely used, this part of South Philadelphia was home to an important Black cultural community. The area became closely connected to Philadelphia’s jazz history, with institutions such as the Philadelphia Clef Club and the home of legendary contralto and civil rights figure

Marian Anderson helping shape its cultural identity.

Today, that history remains an important part of the neighborhood’s story.
